GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (09.10.16) - A full squad of runners from the UT Dallas cross country team tested their times Saturday morning against competition that included Division I athletes from several North Texas schools at the Gerald Richey Invitational Meet. The race was run on a wet track at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie following an early morning rain shower.

Blake Stroud took 21st place in a 40-man men's 5K field, posting a time of 17:07.4. Junior
Lindsey Rayborn was the Comets' top female finisher, running the 5K race in a time of 19:34.7. She finished 22nd among 71 female runners.
