RICHARDSON, TX (10.16.17) - For the second straight week, UT Dallas senior
Lindsey Rayborn has been named the American Southwest Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced by the league office Monday.
Rayborn, a native of Pocatello, Idaho, picked up her eighth career ASC Runner of the Week honor as she sparked the Comets to a fourth place showing at the Mississippi College Invitational to wrap up the regular season Saturday morning. Rayborn completed the five-kilometer race in a time 19:01 to finish in third place among the 119 runners in the "college" division race. Rayborn was the top NCAA D-III finisher in the meet while UTD was the top scoring NCAA D-III squad among the 16-team field.
Next up for the Comets is the 2017 ASC Championships, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28, in Round Rock.
