Former Comet pitching standout Brandon Lee joined the coaching staff as a volunteer in the fall of 2024.
In his first season on staff, the Comets boasted the best record in program history, going 32-6.
Lee threw two seasons, earning All-American Southwest Conference Honorable Mention in 2016 and 2017. He went 11-5 with a 4.01 earned run averaged in 24 appearances and 21 starts. Lee tossed eight complete games with two shutouts and struck out 89 batters over 130.1 innings.
After UTD, Lee won a league title with the Mustangs in the Thoroughbred Baseball League in 2017.
A Dallas native who attended Greenhill School, Lee graduated from UTD in 2018 with a BS in Business Administration.
