UTD TENNIS COMPLEX
HOME OF UT DALLAS MEN'S & WOMEN'S TENNIS
The newest outdoor athletic facility on the UTD campus is the UTD Tennis Complex, located south of the Activity Center. The Complex was completed in the fall of 2013, and has 10 fully lighted courts as well as electronic scoreboards for varsity play.
The complex went through a makeover in 2025, as all 10 courts were resurfaced.
Fans have seen the Comets rise to the top of the collegiate tennis world at the Tennis Complex, which has been host to eight UTD teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament, including NCAA Second Round appearances by the Women's Tennis program in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The Tennis Complex has hosted multiple championship events, including American Southwest Conference Championship Tournaments multiple times, as well as NCAA Division III National Tournament matches.
On May 14, 2021, the Tennis Complex hosted its first NCAA National Tournament event. As the Women's team suffered a 4-5 loss to Washington-St. Louis. Since then, the complex has hosted the NCAA Tournament two more times (2022 and 2023).
Both UTD men's and women's tennis squads use the facility year round for training, as well as host tournaments and match play during the spring seasons. The courts are also available after hours for the use of all UTD students.
