WACO, TX (03.12.21) - The UT Dallas men's tennis team suffered a 6-3 non-conference loss to Concordia Texas at the Waco Regional Tennis Center Friday afternoon.

After dropping all three doubles contests, the Comets attempted to rally in singles play with three wins, but fell short of the team victory.

Ashwin Vaithianathan battled for a three-set singles win at No. 1, outlasting CTX's Joshua Bode, 7-6 (5), 6-4, 10-8. John Edwards earned a straight-set victory at No. 2 (6-3, 6-3) while Nick Boquet earned a 6-3, 7-6 (6), 10-8, win at No. 5 singles.

The Comes (now 3-4) return home Saturday for a 12 p.m. match with NCAA Division I Louisiana-Lafayette at the UTD Tennis Courts.
