MARSHALL, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team lost 4-2 to East Texas Baptist at Veterans Memorial Tennis Complex Friday afternoon.

The Comets (2-2) and host Tigers (2-0) were closely matched with six of skirmishes involving a tiebreaker. 

ETBU took the doubles point with number one and three winning in a tiebreak. UTD's Giritharan D and Eddy Shteyn defeated Jaco Snyman and BT White 6-2 in the second spot.

Snehin Yerragudi defeated Max Karseno 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 1-0 (10-4) at number three singles for the Comets' first point. At number four, junior Benjamin Dubois improved to 4-0 on the year with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) victory against White.

UT Dallas will return to action on Saturday, March 8 at home against Hardin-Simmons at 1 p.m.
