WAIPAHU, Hawaii - The UT Dallas men's soccer team erased a second-half deficit with three late goals, en route to a 4-2 victory over Hawaii Pacific at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium Friday night.
The Comets (2-1-1) opened the scoring in the 36th minute when forward
Osi Iyamah scored on an assist from
Jordan Jones. The Sharks (1-2) tied the game 18 seconds before halftime when Ryder Breeden scored on a pass from Konrad Mueller.
Paul Norberg gave HPU a 2-1 advantage in the 54th minute. UTD tied the contest at 2-2 in the 67th minute when

Carson Burden assisted
Owen Lagerwey's first goal as a Comet in the 81st minute, which proved to be the game-winner. Burden sealed the victory on a penalty kick goal in the 83rd minute.
UTD outshot the HPU 18-6 overall and 10-4 on goal. The Comets also led 8-3 in corner kicks, while the Sharks committed more fouls, 17-16. Both teams were issued two yellow cards apiece.

- Iyamah's goal was his second of the season. He leads UTD with five points on the season.
- Burden picked up his ninth career goal and sixth assist.
