Side-armed standout Adam Spinn, UT Dallas' closer for the last three seasons, led the American Southwest Conference in saves in 2010, concluding his collegiate career as one of the Comets' all-time great relievers. Spinn, a two-time Academic All-Conference honoree, galvanized a career-best 2.86 ERA in 2009 -- and even though that number plummeted in 2010, he still managed to nab three wins while making a team-high 21 appearances on the bump.

2010: Led the ASC with 10 saves...went 3-3 in 21 appearances, most of which were in save situations...posted wins over Mary Hardin-Baylor and nationally ranked squads from Marietta College (OH) and UT-Tyler...collected 16 strikeouts, walking 13 batters...finished the season with a 4.45 ERA.

2009: Named Second Team All-East Division after being a dominant reliever most of the season...entered the postseason with a 2.86 ERA and five saves, giving up just six earned runs in 21 appearances...finished with a 4.63 ERA after a disappointing playoff run.

2008: Won Honorable Mention All-ASC East Division honors in 2008 after posting a 3.86 ERA and picking up three wins in 12 appearances...struck out 22 while walking just 14 in 23.1 innings... allowed opponents to hit just .171 against him, giving up just 14 hits...he also won ASC Academic All-Conference honors.

2007: Appeared in 10 varsity games as a freshman in 2007, throwing 17.0 innings and posting a 1-0 record with a 4.24 ERA...struck out 11 in 17.0 innings of work.

HIGH SCHOOL: Spinn played baseball, football and ran track at Holland HS, where he was an All-District pitcher in 2004, and district defensive MVP in 2005...also made the First Team Academic All-State team in football.
