A former all-conference catcher, Adam Hudec split time behind the plate with Matt Kelly in 2010, but was oftentimes inserted into the lineup as a DH or pinch-hitter. Hudec, a transfer from North Lake College, maintained a career average of .368 during his tenure as a Comet, and was named to the American Southwest Conference All-East Division Second Team in 2009.
He logged two seasons at NLC -- one in 2005, the other in 2007. He missed the 2006 season due to an injury.
2010: Hit .318 at the plate, dropping .078 points from the 2009 season...hit one home run, which came in the form of a two-run blast in an ASC Tournament game at Texas Lutheran on May 1...rapped 27 hits, including two doubles. 
2009: Was second on the team in hitting among regulars, batting .396...played in 40 games with 38 starts at either catcher or DH...compiled six home runs, nine doubles, two triples and 41 RBIs...earned ASC All-East Division Second Team honors.
