Despite playing through nagging hamstring injuries, Jason Diemer was one of UT Dallas' leading hitters in 2010 -- his first season as a Comet after transferring from Paris Junior College (Paris, TX). Diemer helped anchor the Comets' defense, exhibiting a strong throwing arm in centerfield.

The junior, who also has experience playing middle infield, pounded one RBI per game en route to being named the American Southwest Conference East Division Hitter of the Week (April 12). He is a former Junior College All-Start selection while playing for PJC.

2010: Blasted three home runs and tallied 24 RBIs...batted .389 and totaled 35 hits, including four doubles...lifted a grand slam in the final inning to give the Comets a 5-3 road win at LeTourneau on April 17...named the ASC East Division Hitter of the Week (April 12).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a dual-sport athlete at Creekview HS (Carrollton, TX), participating in baseball, basketball and football...named a Second Team All-District selection three times while playing on Creekview's varsity baseball squad.

MAJOR: General Studies
