SAUMYA VEDULA | Women's Tennis
Senior Saumya Vedula picked up two points in the Comets’ NCAA Championship Tournament First Round 5-0 win against Albright in Annapolis, Md. Friday. She teamed with Rebecca Jackson at number one doubles for an 8-3 victory then went on to win 6-0, 6-0 at number four singles. Vedula finished her career ranked fifth in program history with 35 singles wins and third with 45 doubles victories. |

RAFE PREMO | Track & Field
Sophomore Rafe Premo placed fifth in the 400-meter dash at the TXWES High Performance Meet in Fort Worth Friday. He posted a time of 49.54 seconds, just .14 seconds off his personal best.

SOFIA TREVINO | Women's Golf
Junior Sofia Trevino was the individual medalist at the ASC Championship and helped the Comets win their third title in four years. She recorded an ASC-record 54-hole score 69-72-72=213 (-3), making 12 birdies and 34 pars over three days. Trevino won the tournament by nine strokes and she broke the school three-round total by six shots.

ZACH SELL | Track & Field
Freshman Zach Sell became a national contender in the 400-meter hurdles after his performance at the Arkansas Twilight Friday night. He finished third against all NCAA Division I competition with a time of 52.97 seconds. He shaved 1.82 seconds of his previous school recorded and moved into 15th on the NCAA Division III leaders list.

DYLAN HUGLEY | Baseball
Senior starter Dylan Hugley was named to the ASC All-Tournament Team as he picked up his ninth victory of the season in the Semifinals. He struck out seven batters, allowing six hits, one walk and an unearned run as the UTD eliminated #2/3 East Texas Baptist 3-2 on Saturday.

ADDISON CADDELL | Softball
Sophomore third baseman Addison Caddell hit .556 (5-for-9) with a home run, five RBI and three runs scored as UTD took the final series of the year from Hardin-Simmons. She had a hit in all three games, including a 2-for-4 performance with a three-run homer in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Cowgirls. Caddell also was 2-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 4-1 win. |

SNEHIN YERRAGUDI | Men's Tennis
Sophomore Snehin Yerragudi was named to the ASC All-Tournament Team. He won his match at number three singles 6-4, 6-1 in the ASC Championship Quarterfinals against Mary Hardin-Baylor and teamed with Noah Sam for an 8-2 number three doubles victory.

Senior Saumya Vedula was named the ASC Women’s Tennis Tournament Most Valuable Player, leading the Comets to their fifth straight league title and sixth overall on Saturday. She did not drop a set, going 2-0 at number one doubles with partner Rebecca Jackson and winning 6-0, 6-0 against LeTourneau in the Semifinals at number four singles. |

DEVAN BAILEY | Track & Field
Senior Devan Bailey won both the 10,000 and 5,000 meters at the ASC Championship. He won the 10K for the third time, coming in at 33:48.90. Bailey also became a repeat champion in the 5K in 16:14.92, winning five league medals during his career. |

GRAEME MACLEAN | Track & Field
Senior Graeme Maclean became a three-time conference champion in the 1,500 meters and won the 800 for the second time at the ASC Championship in Abilene. He ran the 1,500 in 4:01.76 and the 800 finals in 1:55.85. |

SAGE HERRERA | Track & Field
Junior Sage Herrera won the 800 meters at the ASC Championship for the second consecutive year with mark of 2:18.36. She was also part of the 4x400 relay team that finished fourth and broke the school record by nearly seven seconds with a time of 4:13.74. |

FRANK DOUGLAS | Track & Field
Freshman Frank Douglas won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the ASC Championship in Abilene Thursday night. He had a time of 9:42.24 to become the second champion in the event from UTD. He was also the runner-up in the 5,000 meters in 16:25.24.

JOSH JOHNSON | Baseball
Junior designated hitter Josh Johnson hit .500 (7-for-14) with a .929 slugging percentage as the Comets went 4-0 on the week. He scored six runs and drove in eight with a pair of stolen bases. In Tuesday's 17-10 win over Centenary (La.), Johnson hit two home runs twice in the same inning, recording four RBI in the game. |

DANIEL SHOFNER | Men's Golf
Daniel Shofner won the individual title at the 2024 American Southwest Conference Championship in a playoff at The Nutcracker Golf Course Sunday afternoon. Shofner, who shot a 69-70=139 for a -4, tied Concordia Texas' Parker Smith after two rounds, but earned medalist after making a birdie on the first playoff hole. Shofner tied for the field lead with 11 birdies made, as he broke the single-season program record with 84 this season. |

ZACH SELL | Track & Field
Freshman Zach Sell broke the school record in the 400-meter hurdles at the John McDonnell Invitational at Arkansas on Friday. He placed 10th in the 400-meter hurdles in 54.79, shaving nearly a second off his previous school record. He also took 18th in the 110 hurdles in 14.82 seconds. Sell currently ranks in 40th in the nation in the 110 hurdles and 44th in the 400 hurdles.

UT Dallas freshman Reika Negai won both of her matches, including the clinching singles point, in a 7-2 win against East Texas Baptist. She teamed with Riya Matharoo for an 8-3 victory over Isabelle Duarte and Kristyn Dunn at number three. Negai then defeated Bailey Smith at number three singles 6-2, 6-3. Her win gave the Comets the East Division title and the right to host the ASC Championship Tournament. |

APOLLO CASSIMATIS | Baseball
Junior starter Apollo Cassimatis threw six innings of a 14-0, seven-inning shutout against St. Thomas (Texas) on Tuesday. He baffled the Celts, striking out five while only allowing two hits with no walks to earn the victory. Cassimatis tied his career-high with the 5 Ks. |

Junior center fielder Cole Johnson hit .625 (5-for-8) with two runs scored and a RBI-triple in the Comets' three-game series at Mary Hardin-Baylor. She also drew two walks and stole a base for an on-base-percentage of .700.

Junior Sofia Trevino was the runner-up at the West Region Invitational in Georgetown on Monday. She had a 74-71=145, finishing one shot off the lead and tying for the eight-best 36-hole score in program history. Trevino sank seven birdies and helped the #14 Comets claim their fifth tournament of the year.

Graduate student Ryan Vera broke the UT Dallas career wins record with his 23rd in a 3-hit, 1-0 shutout performance against Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday. He struck out four batters, allowing just one walk and one hit batter in the complete game, seven-inning victory.

Freshman Randi Beckham broke her own school records in the 200- and 400-meter dashes at the War Hawk Classic Saturday. She finished fifth in the 400 in 59.19, shaving nearly two seconds off her previous best. Beckham also ran the 200 in 26.12 seconds, placing seventh. |

Senior Kameron Quinn took .41 seconds off his year-old school record in the 200 meters at the War Hawk Classic, placing fifth in 21.47. He was also seventh in the 100 meters in 10.74 seconds and ninth with a long jump of 6.35 meters (20 ft.-10 in.). |

MEGAN ZENG | Women's Tennis
Junior Megan Zeng went 2-0 at both singles and doubles for UT Dallas against teams from the ASC West. In singles, she only lost one game, defeating Hardin-Simmons' Addyson Tylaska 6-0, 6-1 at number five and defeating Natalia Goodman of Concordia Texas 6-0, 6-0 at number four. Zeng teamed with Elyssa Ducret at number two doubles for an 8-2 victory against the Cowgirls and 8-3 win over the Tornados. Zeng is now 8-4 on the season in singles and 8-4 as team with Ducret. |

PARKER McCURDY | Men's Golf
Graduate student Parker McCurdy tied for fourth place at the West Region Invitational in Georgetown on Monday. He shot a 77-68=145, for a one-over par. McCurdy's 68 was the second-lowest round of the day. He also made six birdies as the #15 Comets finished second at the event. |

BENJAMIN DUBOIS | Men's Tennis
Sophomore Benjamin Dubois was 2-0 at both #4 singles and #1 doubles with partner Andres Gonzalez against two of the top teams from ASC West Division. He defeated Payne Smith from Hardin-Simmons 6-3, 6-2 and earned a doubles victory 8-7 (7-5) over the Cowboys. Dubois went on to defeat Kishan Kersten from Concordia Texas 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 and win in doubles 8-4 against Joshua Bode and Adrian Munguia. Dubois is now 9-2 on the season in singles and boasts and 8-3 record in doubles.

CELESTE SOLIZ | Softball
Senior catcher Celeste Soliz hit .600 (3-for-5) with a pair of runs scored and a RBI in the Comets' series win over Howard Payne. She reached base in all three games, drawing a pair of walks and scoring in Friday's 3-0 opener. Soliz connected on a double in game two and was 2-for-3 with a RBI in the finale. On the weekend, she had a .714 on-base percentage.

Graduate student Jed De Luna went 2-0 at number six singles, defeating Howard Payne's Nicholas Crawford 6-1, 6-0 in conference action Thursday and defeating Division I 44th-ranked SMU's Liam Sunkel 6-2, 6-2 Sunday. With the two victories, De Luna moves into third place on the UTD career singles wins list. |

DYLAN BIVINS | Baseball
Senior third baseman Dylan Bivins was one of the many cogs in the Comets' potent offense as they scored a combined 59 runs against Howard Payne in a three-game series road sweep. Bivins hit .500 (7-for-10 and reached base 11 times,, crossing the plate 10 times with a pair of doubles, a triple, eight RBI, two walks and two hits by pitch. Bivins had at least two hits, including an extra-base knock, scored and drove in multiple runs in all three contests. In Saturday's 23-5, seven-inning victory, he was 2-for-4 with a double, three driven in and four runs. Bivins ended the series going 3-for-5 with a triple, three knocked in and five more runs scored. |

Freshman Randi Beckham set a new 200-meter dash school record at the Mean Green Invitational Saturday. She ran the sprint in 26.32 seconds, placing 32nd overall. She also ran the 100-meter dash in 12.74 seconds, finishing 26th and was a part of the 4x400 relay team that set a new school record in 4:20.42. |

Freshman Zach Sell broke two school records with a pair of fifth place finishes at the Mean Green Invitational in Denton on Saturday.. He made the 110-meter hurdle finals and shaved almost a half second off his previous mark in 14.74 seconds. He also broke a year-old record in the high jump, clearing 1.80 meters (5 ft.-10.75 in.). Sell was also a part of the 4x400 relay that finished third and the 4x100 team that took fourth. |

ELYSSA DUCRET | Women's Tennis
Junior Elyssa Ducret went 1-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles with partner Megan Zeng for the Comets. She earned UTD's only point against Division I foe Utah Tech, defeating Ya-Chi Hsu 2-6, 7-5, 12-10 at number four. In number one doubles, Ducret and Zeng took a 2-6 loss to UTU, but defeated Howard Payne 8-1 in conference play. Ducret now ranks seventh on the Comets' career doubles victories list with 33. |

Freshman Riya Matharoo went 3-0 on the week as the Comets split their two matches. Against Division II Missouri-St. Louis on Monday, she won at number two singles 6-4, 6-3 against Maja Lietzau. Matharoo played in the top spot against conference rival Ozarks and won easily 6-0, 6-0. She also teamed with Reika Nagai for an 8-1 victory in number three doubles against the Eagles. |

JAEGER SELF | Baseball
Junior center fielder Jaeger Self sparked the Comets' offense as they swept Concordia Texas in a three-game series at home. He hit .600 (6-for-10) with two runs scored, two RBI and two stolen bases. Self was 3-for-4 with two RBI and scored the winning run in Thursday's 5-4, 13-inning win over the Tornados. |

KAREN LEE | Women's Golf
Graduate student Karen Lee won the Linda Lowery Invitational in Austin on Monday and Tuesday, shooting a 73-76-149 (+5). She led the entire women's field with 24 pars and beat out second place by five strokes for her second tournament victory of the season. Her performance helped the #14 Comets win the event by 40 shots. |

ANDRES GONZALEZ | Men's Tennis
Graduate student Andres Gonzalez went 2-0 at number one singles and 1-1 at number one doubles with Noah Sam as the Comets won both matches this week. In Monday's 5-2 victory over Division II opponent Missouri-St. Louis, Gonzalez came up with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 singles victory over Jose Mayorga and a 6-2 win in doubles. He followed with a 6-3, 6-4 defeat of Carlos Molero Llopis at Ozarks on Friday. |

DAVIS ARCHER | Men's Golf
Senior Davis Archer won the Texas Cup with a three-round score of 71-69-71=211 (-5) to secure individual medalist at Thorntree Country Club. His 54-hole tally is tied for the fifth-lowest in program history. It was also Archer's first tournament victory, as he recorded 12 birdies and 35 pars. |

Junior Megan Zeng was a perfect 4-0 on the week, as the #38 Comets won both of their matches. She teamed with Elyssa Ducret for a pair of 8-1 victories over LeTourneau and McMurry at number two doubles. Zeng also defeated Anatole Hurta of LETU 6-3, 6-0 and Kaylee Connally of MCM 6-2, 6-0 at number five singles.

Graduate student Zach Landry hit .583 (7-for-12) with six runs, a double, two home runs and 10 RBI in the Comets' three-game sweep at Sul Ross State. He was 4-for-5 in the opener, scoring four times with seven batted in and two home runs. Landry followed with a school record three sacrifice flies in Friday's nightcap and went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in the finale.

Senior Maddy Vilven tied for third at the Texas Cup, shooting a 76-74=15 +6. Her performance helped the #14 Comets win their third tournament of the season by seven shots. Vilven led UTD with 24 pars in the two rounds.

NICK BOQUET | Men's Tennis
Graduate student Nick Boquet won both of his matches in UTD’s 8-1 victory against LeTourneau on Wednesday. He teamed with Benjamin Dubois for an 8-0 blanking of Alex Barrero and Liam Wedge at number two doubles, then followed with a 6-0, 6-1 number five singles win over John Lewis. Boquet and Dubois are now 4-1 on the season as a tandem.

Graduate student/left-handed starter Ryan Vera threw another masterpiece, picking up a seven-inning, 7-1 victory over Ozarks on Sunday. He allowed just five hits and no walks while striking out nine. Vera also moved into a tie for second place on UTD's career win's list with 21 and is in third with 205 strikeouts. |

Senior left fielder Alexia Mullen set the tone for the Comet offense, leading off the order as they went 4-1 at Tucson Invitational Games. She hit .625 (10-for-16) with five runs scored, a triple, two RBI and five stolen bases. Mullen recorded a hit in all five games, including a 3-for-3 performance with two RBI, a triple and two stolen bases in an 8-0 win over Dickinson. |

UT Dallas freshman Zach Sell broke the school record in the 110-meter hurdles twice over the weekend, first in the preliminaries then in the finals of the UNT Bill Schmidt Invite. He finished fifth in the race finals with a new record mark of 15.23 seconds. He also ran the second leg of the 4x100 relay that placed third in 43.06. Sell ranks 13th in Division III in the 110 hurdles and the Comets are 17th in the relay. |

Junior Sage Herrera placed sixth out of 20 in the in the 800 meters at the UNT Bill Schmidt Invite with a time of 2:22.91. Her time ranks 42nd in the nation. |

Senior Kameron Quinn placed 13th in the 100 meter dash at the UTA Invitational in 10.76 second and was 18th with a 200 time of 22.24. He also ran the opening leg of the 4x100 meter relay that finished in 42.58 for fifth place. Quinn ranks fourth in Division III in the 100, 14th in the 200 and the relay team is 11th. |

CLAIRE POLLACK | Softball
Sophomore right fielder Claire Pollack hit .500 (5-for-10) and drove in seven runs as the Comets won two-of-three at Ozarks. She extended her hitting streak to six games, recording hits and RBI in all three contests. Pollack went 2-for-4 with four RBI in Friday's 11-3 victory. She was 2-for-2 with three runs scored and a solo home run in Saturday's 12-2 win. |

Freshman Randi Beckham set a pair of school records in her Comet debut at the UTA Invitational Friday. She placed fifth in the 400 meter dash, breaking the old record by more than six seconds with a time of 1:01.03. Beckham ran the anchor leg of the 4x100 relay that established a mark of 49.85 and finished third. She also ran the 200 meters in 26.97, placing 18th. Beckham ranks 19th in the nation in the 400 and 30th in the 200 while the relay team is sixth. |

BEN PRICE | Baseball
Senior Ben Price picked up a win and a save in two scoreless appearances against Centenary (La.). In Tuesday's 5-3, 11-inning victory in Shreveport, he threw the final two innings, striking out one and giving up a pair of hits in the winning outing. Price followed with a perfect ninth inning in Friday's 8-7 win over the Gents, earning the save. |

UT Dallas junior McKenzie Cutbirth earned both wins in the circle against McMurry, striking out 13 batters over 14 innings with a 0.50 ERA and only one walk allowed. She threw a 2-0, three-hit shutout in game one, fanning seven batters on Friday. In Saturday's 5-2 victory, she once again went the distance, giving up one earned run and six hits while striking out six. She held the War Hawks to a .191 batting average. |

CALEB VUONO | Baseball
UT Dallas senior left-handed reliever Caleb Vuono threw 2.2 shutout innings with five strikeouts and a save. He needed 11 pitches and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning of Tuesday's 3-1 win against Southwestern (Texas), fanning two batters, to earn his first save of the season. Vuono then allowed just one hit with three strikeouts in 1.2 frames at McMurry. For the season, he has struck out 11 with a 1.04 ERA in 8.2 innings. |

Cole Wiley was the top finisher among the individuals at the Lidlifter, shooting a two-day score of 73-70=143 (-1). He sunk 10 birdies and was named to the All-Tournament Team. |

UT Dallas freshman Reika Nagai won her only match of the week, defeating #14 Trinity's Olivia Kim 6-2, 6-1. The battle was at number four singles with Kim ranked #42 in the nation in singles. |

Senior guard Donovan Souter was named the ASC Championship Tournament MVP by averaging 20.5 points and 5.0 rebounds and leading the Comets to their fifth conference title. He scored 16 points in Friday's 93-85 Semifinal victory over LeTourneau. Souter capped the tournament with 25 points, including a buzzer-beating jumper in Saturday's 78-77 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor in the title game. He also broke the UTD record for most three-pointers made in a season with 93. |

Mullen was 2-for-3 with a pair of steals in a 2-1 loss in the opener. She followed by going 4-for-4 with three more steals and three runs scored in a 5-3 nightcap victory. |

Senior guard Blythe Williams averaged 10 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game as the Comets wrapped up the regular season with a pair of road wins and tied for second place in the ASC standings. In Thursday's 77-45 win at LeTourneau, she pulled down a season-high 11 boards and had two steals. Williams followed with a career-high 17 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and five steals in Saturday's 67-63 victory at East Texas Baptist. |

Sophomore guard Amanda Crowninshield averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game as the Comets picked up a pair of big home wins. In Thursday's 68-60 victory over #16/17 Mary Hardin-Baylor, she had five points, five rebounds and three assists. Crowninshield followed with a career-high 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting to go with four boards, four assists and four steals. She shot 55 percent (11-for-20) from the floor. |

Junior Benjamin Dubois earned two points in the Comets' 5-4 season-opening victory against Texas Wesleyan on Friday. He teamed with Nick Boquet to win in a tiebreaker at number two doubles 8-7 (7-4). Dubois followed with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Elliott Hoffman at number six singles. |

Senior guard Donovan Souter averaged 29.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game to lead the Comets to a pair of wins and take over first place in the ASC standings. In Thursday's 80-73 victory over McMurry, he scored a career-high 33 points with six rebounds, two assists, a block and steal. Souter followed with 26 points, eight boards, an assist, block and a steal in Saturday's 76-67 win against Hardin-Simmons. |

ALEX BOWMAN | Women's Basketball
Senior forward Alex Bowman averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest as the Comets went 1-1 at home against two of the top teams in the league. She recorded 18 points, nine rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals in Thursday's 70-57 victory over McMurry. Trigg followed with a season-high 19 points, hitting a trio of three-pointers, to go with six rebounds in Saturday's 78-51 home victory.

UT Dallas senior guard Donovan Souter averaged 21 points per game in a pair of victories over Ozarks. In Wednesday's 80-61 win in Clarksville, he scored 24 points with four rebounds, an assist and a steal. Souter followed with 18 points and three boards in Saturday's home 78-67 victory. Souter has scored in double-digits in 18 consecutive games. |

Freshman forward Jordan Balderaz averaged a double-double with 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as the Comets had a pair of one-point decisions at home. He recorded eight points and 12 rebounds with four assists in Thursday's 66-65 loss to Sul Ross State. Balderaz then followed with 15 points and nine boards in Saturday's 99-98 victory against Howard Payne. He also shot 53.3 percent (8-for-15) and averaged 3.0 assists per contest. |

Senior forward Alex Bowman averaged 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game as UT Dallas won a pair of home games. In Thursday's 69-55 victory over Sul Ross State, she recorded career-highs of 20 points and 10 rebounds for her first career double-double to go with two blocks and two steals. Bowman followed with 18 points and six rebounds in Saturday's 77-63 win against Howard Payne. She also shot 60.9 percent (14-for-23) from the field. |

Kiser followed with 13 points and eight assists in Saturday's 103-81 defeat of LeTourneau. He moved into seventh place on UTD's career assists list with 255 and shot 80 percent (8-for-10) from the field and 83.3 percent (10-of-12) from the free throw line. |

Balderaz then recorded nine points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals at Hardin-Simmons Monday. He also shot 68.8 percent (11-for-16) from the field. |

She started the week with a career-high 19 kills and hitting .406 in a three-set loss at Austin. Rogers then recorded 11 kills and hit .424 in a four-set conference win against Howard Payne, followed by 11 kills in another four-set victory over Sul Ross State. Rogers also came up with 12 digs, two aces and four blocks.

Golfer Parker McCurdy, from Seguin, Texas, finished sixth at the prestigious Golfweek October Classic in Miramar Beach, Fla. earlier this week. He shot a two-under par 69-71-71=211 while making 12 birdies and an eagle. McCurdy's performance helped the #10 Comets ties for eighth in the 25-team field.

Grindle made 10 birdies over the two rounds, leading the Comet B Team to a fourth place finish and the tied the for the fourth-best 36-hole tally in program history. |

UT Dallas junior Rebeca Betanzo finished third in the Prairie Fire race at the Chile Pepper XC Festival Friday. She ran the 5K course in 18:54.9, just 2.5 seconds off the school record. Betanzo was the highest-placing NCAA Division III athlete in the race. |

UT Dallas freshman outside hitter Bailey Schievelbein averaged 4.57 kills per set and hit .414 as the Comets won two matches on the road. In Saturday's four-set win at Howard Payne, she connected on 27 kills while hitting .520 and also came up with 15 digs. Schievelbein's 27 kills were tied for the second-most in a match in Comet history and tied for the most in a four-set match. She also had five kills and nine digs in Friday's sweep of Sul Ross State. |

UT Dallas junior forward Riley O'Donnell recorded two goals and an assist in the Comets 4-0 win over Dallas Thursday night. He scored the second goal for UTD in the 8th minute as he raced down the field, blowing past several Crusader defenders. His second goal came in the 55th minute, followed by an assist in the 76th. He also took six shots in a 3-0 win against Austin Saturday. |

Crowe also assisted the game-winner in the first half of a 2-0 victory against Hendrix. |

UT Dallas senior midfielder/defender Vaughn Morgan tied the game 25 seconds after being down 1-0 at Southwestern (Texas) in what ended up being a 1-1 draw. The Pirates connected on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute, but Morgan answered by sending the ball in the net off his right foot after passes from Josh Zemanski and Kane Kidwell. It was Morgan's first career goal. |

UT Dallas freshman defender Jenna Wilkinson helped the Comets to two more shutouts at center back over the weekend. In Friday's 1-0 win at Centenary (La.), helped limit the Ladies to just two shots and one on goal. In a 3-0 victory at Austin on Sunday, the 'Roos were held to two shots, one goal and Wilkinson recorded a pair of assists. She also played all 180 minutes. |

UT Dallas senior Graeme Maclean finished fifth behind a quartet of Dallas Baptist runners at the Orville Rogers XC Opener in Grand Prairie, Texas. He recorded the ninth-best 8K time in program history, completing the course in 26:15.5 and helped the Comets to a second-place finish.

After missing most of 2022 with an injury, senior forward Sierra Foster made a big impact to start 2023, netting two goals and two assists to help UT Dallas open the season 2-0. In Friday's 4-0 win at Dallas, Foster had assisted the second goal of the night and scored in the 60th minute. She followed with an assist on a corner kick on the game-winner and converted a penalty kick in Sunday's 3-0 victory at Schreiner.
