Biography

Cale Hughes is a left-handed pitcher who made five appearances and one start for the Comets as a freshman. Posted a team-best 2.35 ERA while working 7.2 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Hughes was a three-time all-district player at Howe HS, where he also was a team captain and MVP. His HS team qualified for the playoffs for the first time in 10 years in 2006 and repeated in 2007. Also played football and was part of an award-winning marching band.
