Biography

Dane Dougherty transferred to UT Dallas from Frank Phillips College in 2008, and has since received a limited workload as reliever. He made the first start of his UTD career on March 8, 2010, in a loss at Hardin-Simmons.

2010: Was 0-1 in two pitching stints, including a start at Hardin-Simmons on March 8.

2009: Made five pitching appearances, giving up 12 earned runs in nine innings of work...recorded five strikeouts and walked just four, but gave up 18 hits, including five home runs.

2008: Pitched mostly on the UTD junior varsity squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an all-district player at Allen HS in 2006...made the Dean's Honor Roll in the Fall 2007 semester...also played football.

MAJOR: Political Science

AMBITION: U.S. Air Force
