Garet Norton is in his fourth year with UT Dallas, serving as a utility middle infielder. He appeared in 18 games as a second baseman in 2010, splitting time with sophomore Larry Bolding.

2010: Started 16 games at second base...hit a career-low .176 with five RBIs and only nine total hits...was near-perfect defensively after committing just two errors.

2009: Made 23 starts in 26 appearances as a sophomore, hitting .243... had two doubles, a triple and two homeruns with 12 RBIs...cut his error total down to 11 with 69 assists and 26 putouts.

2008: Started all 37 games at shortstop as a freshman...hit .272 with four doubles and three triples, driving in 19 runs in his first season..showed great range defensively, but committed a team-high 21 errors...won honorable mention American Southwest Conference All-East Division honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Started in the 2007 Houston Area HS All-Star Game after winning First Team All-District honors his senior season...earned Honorable Mention and Second Team honors as a sophomore and junior.
