Joseph Killgore filled All-American Cody Ross's void at third base in 2010 -- and in doing so, progressed into one of the most prolific hitters in the American Southwest Conference. A transfer from LeTourneau, where he played his first two seasons of collegiate baseball, Killgore led UT Dallas in batting average (.424) while hitting at the clean-up spot.

Tall and athletic, Killgore will again bolster the Comets' offense in 2011.

2010: Hit a team-best .424 at the plate, accumulating six home runs and 30 RBIs...uncorked a game-winning homer in a 9-8 win over Southwestern Univ. on March 31...amassed 59 hits and 12 doubles, both team-highs.

2009: (LETU) Played in 31 games, including 26 starts...batted .246 with three home runs, six doubles and 18 RBIs...was 2 for 2 on stolen bases.

2008: (LETU) Played in 31 games, including 26 starts...hit .255 with three doubles, a lone triple and seven RBIs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity baseball for Greenville Christian School (Greenville, TX), earning First Team All-State honors...led his team to the Texas state quarterfinals...was also a First Team All-State selection in football...member of National Honor Society.
