Prior to UTD: Spent a season each at Brookhaven College and St. Edward's...earned second team All-America honors as a freshman at Brookhaven...appeared in one game for St. Edward's.

High School: Named first team all-district while at Lehman High school...played in AABCAA All-Star Game...tabbed third team All-Centex...two-time academic all-district honoree.
