Biography

Gentry Contreras is back for his third season on the UTD squad and is viewed a dependable option in UT Dallas’ midfield and back line. After an “excellent” freshman season in 2008, Contreras has become a regular contributor to the Comets’ defense, coaches say.

2009: Appeared in nine games, starting one contest…recorded one shot.

2008: Played in 16 of UTD’s 21 games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a multisport athlete at San Marcos HS (San Marcos, TX), also playing basketball and football…won First Team All-District honors twice on the soccer field…assumed team captain duties for two years.

MAJOR: Business Administration
