Summary

Biography

Courtney Kuebler, a first-year transfer student from Mid American Christian University, anchored the left side of UT Dallas' infield in 2010 and will look to reprise her role at third base this season. Kuebler started in all but one game, also catalyzing the Comets on offense. Her power numbers -- she had six home runs and a slugging percentage of .581 -- were high among the ranks of teammates, and conference leaders, Natalie Duran and Caysie Norum.

Before signing on with MACU, Kuebler played one season at Grayson County CC.

2010: Led all first-year UTD players with a .350 batting average...tied Norum with a team-best six home runs...belted 41 hits, including nine doubles, to go along with 28 RBIs...had a pair of homers in UTD's home doubleheader against then-No. 2 East Texas Baptist on April 13...also homered against Hardin-Simmons, Howard Payne, LeTourneau and the Ozarks...drove home a season-high four runs in an April 7 win at the Univ. of Dallas...crowned the ASC East Division "Newcomer of the Year".

2009 (MACU): Started 49 games for MACA, hitting .326 with 14 doubles, five home runs and 28 RBIs...was 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time District Catcher of the Year at Richardson Berkner High School (Richardson, TX).  Led BHS to back-to-back district titles.
