Summary

Biography

Ansel was one of very few Comets to appear in all 21 games in 2009, anchoring UT Dallas’ sturdy backfield. She is a quick defender with tremendous “upside,” according to coach John Antonisse, and will continue to safeguard the Comets’ defense when she returns as a junior in 2010.

2009: Named the team MVP after the season. Played and started in all of UTD’s 21 games…canned two assists…named to the All-American Southwest Conference Second Team at season’s end. ASC Academic All-Conference.

2008: Played in 20 games…did not score, but fired all three of her shots on target.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a First Team All-District player twice on Port Neches HS (Port Neches, TX) teams that claimed district titles in both 2006 and 2007…was an All-Tournament player at several events…also played volleyball and ran cross country…was a member of the National Honor Society.

MAJOR: Psychology/Child Learning & Development
