Biography

Kate Gougler stepped into a more prominent role in UT Dallas’ midfield during her sophomore season, appearing in all but five of the Comets’ 21 games. She scored her first collegiate goal in 2009, where she transitioned to a starting role.

Gougler possesses good quickness and dribbling skills, says coach John Antonisse.

2009: Scored one goal and chipped in one assist…rattled off 26 shots, 12 of which were on goal. ASC Academic All-Conference.

2008: Played in 18 games, recording one assist.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity soccer for A&M Consolidated HS (College Station, TX), where she was a team captain as a senior…her team advanced to the state playoffs all four years…played on a team that won the President’s Cup two years.

MAJOR: Interdisciplinary Studies/History
