Margarita Carrizales joined the UT Dallas Athletics staff in February 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
She comes to UTD after spending two years with as a MiLB Athletic Trainer with the Arizona Complex League Rangers. Carrizales worked closely with the Texas Rangers Sports Medicine & Performance Team and the Minor League Baseball Medical Coordinator, physicians, coaching staff and front office personnel.
Carrizales interned with the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Rangers for two seasons. While a student at the University of Texas at Austin, she worked with men's and women's tennis, football, women's rowing and women's soccer.
A University Honors recipient in 2020, Carrizales earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Texas in 2022 and is pursuing her Master of Education Sport Management from UT.
