Jordan Anchundia joined the UT Dallas staff as the department's first Academic Advisor in September 2024.
His duties include monitoring student-athlete academic success and progress, assisting student-athletes in enrollment, working with professors and the Academic Sucess Center and assisting the Comet coaching and administrative staffs.Â
Anchundia, who graduated from UTD with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2018, previously spent a year as the Academic Advisor for the UTD Naveen Jindal School or Management. He also worked as a United States history teacher at Hope Christian School in Albuquerque, N.M. and as a teacher at Prosper ISD in Texas.
Anchundia received a Master of Education in Higher Education at North Texas in Denton in 2025.
