UT Dallas Athletics Hall of Honors inductee Kevin White rejoined the Comet coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in January of 2026, after spending five seasons as the head coach at Centenary College of Louisiana from 2021-25. White was previously on the UTD staff from 2011-21 as a volunteer and assistant coach.
At Centenary, White went 26-17-14 with the Gents over five seasons. While at the helm, White coached 13 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference selections.
In his previous stint, the Comets went 125-38-24, winning three American Southwest Conference titles and making four trips to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournaments. White coached two All-Americans, 24 All-Region selections, five ASC Offensive Players of the Year, six ASC Defensive Players of the Year, one ASC Midfielder of the Year, two ASC Goalkeepers of the Year and 68 all-conference picks.
As a player for the Comets, White was inducted into the UTD Athletics Hall of Honors in 2014. He was the 2007 and 2008 ASC Offensive Player of the Year, earning First Team All-Conference honors on two occasions. He was also a NSCAA First Team All-Region pick both seasons.
A native of Sugar Land, Texas, White appeared in 69 games as a Comet, scoring 39 goals with 13 assists. He still ranks in the UTD career top five in goals, points and game-winning goals.
White was a three-time all-district performer at Dulles High School before winning first-team honors as a senior in 2005, when he was also the team MVP. He also won an Academic Excellence Award.
