Kyle Kasten joined the UT Dallas staff in December 2024 as the Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities.

Kasten comes to Richardson after serving as the Assistant Facilities Director at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn. for two years. While with the Governors, he maintained eight NCAA Division I sports facilities, video boards and scoreboards for events. Kasten also oversaw the setup and take down of all events and maintained the security of athletic facilities.

In 2019, Kasten graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a minor in business administration. He also served as a graduate assistant. As a GA, Kasten coordinated multiple events, kept records for interns, and communicated with coaches, officials, and players.

Kasten worked as an intern responsible for ticket sales and merchandising for the Cape Catfish of the Prospect League in 2019.. In 2022,  Kasten earned a Master of Sport Management from SEMO.
