Rob Bogardus transitioned to become the first Associate Athletic Director for Internal Affairs at UT Dallas in October 2021 after serving as UT Dallas' Associate AD for External Affairs from 2014-21. His current responsibilities include oversight of all budgets, ticket operations, concessions, and facilities and operations. Bogardus also provides sports supervision for the following sports: Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and both Golf teams. As a member of the department’s senior leadership team, he has also served on the committee for transition of the University's athletic department to Division II.
Bogardus came to UT Dallas after a two-year stint as Associate Athletic Director with the Dolphins of Jacksonville University. In that capacity, he served as executive director of the JU Athletics Booster Club and oversaw corporate partnerships along with the development efforts of the department. In just two years at JU, stadium enhancements were completed in baseball, softball, football, and historic Swisher Gymnasium, which housed the Volleyball and Basketball teams.
Before Jacksonville, Bogardus spent nine years as Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations at Bradley University, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. As a member of the Bradley Athletics staff, he oversaw the department’s ticket operations, supervised the Braves Club booster organization and served as a member of the executive leadership team. Additionally, he was responsible for oversight of ticket operations for several Missouri Valley Conference championships and NCAA regionals, including on-site duties for the 2006 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in Detroit (1st and 2nd rounds), and Oakland (Sweet 16).
In addition to his administrative duties, Bogardus served as the interim head coach for the men’s golf team during the 2005 Spring semester and continued to serve as an assistant for both the Bradley men’s and women’s golf teams.
The Catskill, N.Y., product began his professional career as a ticket operations specialist for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1997 and in 2000, took over as the ticket and guest services manager at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Fla., before joining the Bradley staff in January 2004.
A 1995 graduate of Division II Concordia College in Bronxville, N.Y., he lettered in baseball.
