Box Score TYLER, TX (11.04.11) - The UT Dallas men's soccer team advanced to the semfinals of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament with a 3-0 whitewash of LeTourneau Saturday afternoon.
The Comets (13-3-2) got goals from Travis White, Bryan Shiba and Eric Holland to eliminate the Yellowjackets (6-10-2) and set up a semifinal showdown with Hardin-Simmons at 2 pm Saturday. Mary Hardin-Baylor advanced out of the other semi-final matchup, tying Mississippi College, 1-1, but advancing on penalty kicks. UMHB meets host UT-Tyler Saturday at 11 am in the other semifinal.

White scored just 4:06 into the match to get the game winner with an unassisted goal. With the score still 1-1, UTD got a penalty kick goal from Shiba 65 minutes in. Shiba then assisted on the final goal, setting up Holland with a 75:25 corner kick.

UTD outshot the Yellowjackets 20-8 and held a 13-0 advantage on corner kicks. LETU put just one of eight shots on goal.
