RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas senior forward Avery Brazzell was named the Lone Star Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Brazzell, from Shady Shores, Texas, recorded the 24th hat trick in program history in the Comets' 3-0 victory against St. Edward's on Wednesday. He scored just 49 seconds into the contest, the fourth-fastest goal in UTD history. He added another goal in the 59th minute and a penalty kick in the 86th minute.

UT Dallas will host UT Tyler at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the final game of the regular season.
