SAN ANTONIO, TX (10.31.15) - On the final day of the regular season, the No. 19-ranked UT Dallas volleyball team extended its winning streak to 20 straight matches after a pair of sweeps on Saturday at the Trinity National Tournament, including a 3-0 win over No. 12-ranked Southwestern as the Comets avenged one of its two losses on the season.

The Comets (now 27-2) kicked off Saturday with a 3-0 win over Simpson, earning a 25-11, 25-18, 25-14 win over the Storm. UTD then handled Southwestern, 25-17, 25-22, 25-22, in the regular season finale. The Comets will now host the American Southwest Conference Tournament, Nov. 5-7, at the UTD Activity Center.

Senior setter Kayla Jordan was named MVP of the weekend event while teammate Abbie Barth was named to the All-Tournament Team.
