RICHARDSON, TX (10.12.17) - The UT Dallas men's soccer team got pushed to overtime for the second straight outing as the Comets tussled with Hardin-Simmons to a scoreless draw Thursday night in American Southwest Conference play.
The Comets out-shot HSU, 18-10, on the night, but finished with just six shots on goal as UTD struggled to find the frame all night. UTD held the Cowboys without a shot in the opening half as the Comets controlled possession over the first 45 minutes. Two squads then battled back-and-forth in the second half, but neither team could find the back of the net. In overtime, the Comets managed just three shots, compared to five by HSU.

John Nicknish finished with four saves, two in overtime, as he recorded his second shutout of the season.
Mason Anderson led the Comets with four shots, all of corner kicks, as UTD took a season-high 12 corners on the night.
Alfredo Kaegi finished with three shots, two on frame, while

Kasden Williams each took two shots.
