ABILENE, TX (04.22.18) - The UT Dallas baseball team suffered a 6-2 loss at Hardin-Simmons Sunday afternoon to close out a three-game American Southwest Conference series with the Cowboys.
With the loss, the Comets fall to a two-way tie for second place in the ASC standings with Sul Ross State with both teams having three games left on the regular-season schedule. Neither team can catch Concordia Texas, who has already claimed the division regular-season title outright.

Matt Mikusek infield single, but would again leave the bases loaded.
UTD managed just six hits off of a pair of Cowboy hurlers as
Peyton Becker was the sole Comet with a multi-hit performance, finishing 2-for-4.
Cole Hanson (4-7) suffered the loss, giving up three runs on five hits in 5.0 innings of work. Hanson struck out three and walked three.
