Jovi Munoz scored twice as the UT Dallas men's soccer team cruised to a 3-0 road win over Austin College Sunday afternoon in non-conference.
Coming off a tough overtime road loss at No. 9 Trinity Friday night, the Comets (1-1) bounced back in a strong way this afternoon as UTD blasted 26 shots in the shutout of the host 'Roos (0-2).

Alfredo Kaegi opened the scoring in the 38th minute, thanks to an assist from teammate
Jordan Henderson, to lift the Comets to a 1-0 lead at the break. Munoz tallied his first goal of the afternoon in the 48th minute, assisted by
Merek Byckovski, and later added his second goal on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute.
Twelve of the Comets' 26 shots were on frame with Byckovski leading the way with five shots of his own. Munoz and Kaegi each took four shots. UTD keeper
John Nicknish posted the shutout, making seven saves.
The Comets return to action Friday at 7:30 p.m. when they host Johnson & Wales (CO) in the squad's home opener.
