RICHARDSON, TX (10.29.21) - The UT Dallas volleyball team claimed their eighth victory in its last nine outings Friday night with a 3-0 ASC home win over Howard Payne.
The Comets (15-9, 13-4 ASC) will wrap up the regular season Saturday afternoon when they celebrate Senior Day against Sul Ross State at 2 p.m. at the UTD Activity Center.
Abby Jones and
Brynne Blackmar each finished the night with 10 kills to lead the Comets while
Madison Ball had eight kills in the sweep of the Lady Jackets.Â
The Comets hit .344 as a team, topping .300 for the second straight match, while collecting 12 services aces to match a season high.Â
Maria Serb led the Comets with four aces, including a stretch of three straight in the second set. Jones and
Izzy Sundquist each had two aces.
Jones also led the Comets with 12 digs while Sundquist finished with a team-high 27 assists.
