RICHARDSON, TX (02.06.21) - In a match that scheduled to be played in Sherman, but moved to the UT Dallas campus due to rainy conditions, the Comet women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to NCAA Division II Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday.

After dropping all three doubles matches to fall behind SOSU, 1-0, the Comets would take two singles contests before dropping the match. Samantha Wong earned a 6-2, 6-0, win over SOSU's Elizaveta Tregubova at No. 2 while Saumya Vedula downed Vanessa Cozamanis, 6-4, 5-7, 10-4, at No. 5.

The Comets (now 0-1) return to action Thursday, Feb. 11, when they host University of the Southwest at 2 p.m.
