RICHARDSON, TX (03.06.21) - The UT Dallas women's tennis team improved to 3-1 on the young season with two 9-0 wins Saturday at the UTD Tennis Courts, including a win over Ozarks to open American Southwest Conference East Division play.
The Comets stormed past Ozarks in the first match of the day, giving up just two total points combined in singles and doubles play.Â
UTD then completed the perfect day with a 9-0 win over McMurry with all six singles player recording straight-set victories after the Comets took a 3-0 lead after doubles play.
The Comets will not return to the courts until Saturday, Mar. 27, when they host East Texas Baptist in ASC East play.
