SAN ANTONIO, TX (09.12.21) - The UT Dallas men's soccer team was handed a 1-0 road loss at Trinity Sunday as the Comets wrapped up their non-conference weekend trip.
The Comets (2-2-1) will look to bounce back next weekend when they head to Shreveport, La., for a classic hosted by Centenary. UTD will open the trip Friday at 3:30 p.m. against Schreiner before facing host Centenary at 5 p.m. Sunday.
UTD closed Sunday's match with the Tigers with 10 shots, bu managed just four shots on frame on the night. The Comets collected three of their on-target shots over the final 20 minutes as they continue to look for the equalizer. Trinity scored the lone goal of the night in the 51st minute by Michael Meese.
Riley O'Donnell led the Comets with five shots, three on target, while
Nahome Abraham had three shots. Keeper Trey Nickle made four saves in 90 minutes in goal.
