ALPINE, TX (09.24.21) - The UT Dallas volleyball team improved to 4-2 in ASC play Friday night with a 3-0 road victory over Sul Ross State.

The Comets (6-7 overall) rebounded after a tough road loss Tuesday with Friday's sweep of the host Lobos and will wrap up their three-match road trip Saturday with a 2 p.m. match at Howard Payne in Brownwood.

Abby Jones led the Comets with 13 kills in the short three-set victory while Jaryn Towery added 10 kills. UTD hit just .153 in the match, but collected eight service aces to keep the Lobos off balance. Libero Rachel Baxter recorded a match-high 24 digs while Catherine Croft had 21 digs along with a team-best three aces.
