ROUND ROCK, TX (09.30.21) - In a near even match across the board, the UT Dallas men's soccer team picked up a valuable point in the ASC standings Thursday afternoon with a 0-0 draw at Concordia Texas.
The Comets (6-2-2, 2-0-1 ASC) held a slight possession advantage over host CTX, 53-47, and out-shot the Tornados, 18-16, as they extended their unbeaten streak to five-straight games. The Comets finished the outing with just five shots on frame, compared to four by CTX, in what proved to be a defensive battle despite the 34 combined shots between the two ASC contenders.

Trey Nickel collected three saves in his 110 scoreless minutes while Tornado keeper Joshua Redding made five saves.
Kane Kidwell ad RIley O'Donnell each took a team-best three shots while Kidwell led the Comets with two shots on goal.
The Comets will look to pick up more ASC points Saturday when they visit Mary Hardin-Baylor in another key conference road game. Game time is 7:30 p.m. in Belton.
