CONWAY, AR (09.05.21) - The UT Dallas men's soccer team bounced back from its first loss of the fall Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 road win over Hendrix at the Warrior Invitational.
Freshman
Riley O'Donnell scored both goals for the Comets, tallying twice in the second half after the two battled to a scoreless tie at the break. O'Donnell opened the scoring in the 54th minute thanks to an assist from teammate
Oliver Hamby to give UTD a 1-0 advantage. O'Donnell then added an insurance tally in the 85th minute with an assist from
Brandon Bohn.
The Comets (2-1) finished the match with a 14-5 shot advantage over the host Hendrix, and collected five shots on frame. O'Donnell had the bulk of the shots for the Comets, taking seven shots with three on target. No other UTD player had more than a single shot. Keeper
Trey Nickel made two saves in a shutout performance.

UTD returns to action Friday with a non-conference road game at Southwestern. Game time is 7 p.m. in Georgetown.
