RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's soccer team lost to Mary Hardin-Baylor 3-0 in its American Southwest Conference home opener at the UTD Soccer Complex Thursday.
The visiting Cru (8-1-2, 4-0-1) took an early lead in the 10th minute when Ethan Dacaret scored on an assist from Patrick Roach. They added another goal in the 70th minute from Jack Bryan and a third in the 87th minute by Karsen Macias.
The Comets (5-4-3, 1-2-1) outshot the Cru 17-10 and 11-5 on goal, but keeper Dalton Lloyd came up with 10 saves for UMHB.
UMHB led in corner kicks in 5-4 and had a lead in fouls 14-5.
UT Dallas Notes
- Sophomore forward Riley O'Donnell had six shots with four on goal.
- Junior forward Luke Deats posted three shots on goal and junior midfielder Kane Kidwell took two.
- Cole Morgan and Nahome Abraham also took a shot on goal each.
- Vuahgn Morgan, Adrian Solano and Nate Patton played all 90 minutes.
Mary Hardin-Baylor Notes
- Roach recorded two assists for the Cru.
- Keven Daniel also came up with an assist.
- Bryan led UMHB with three shots, two on goal.
