RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's soccer team tied defending American Southwest Conference champion Concordia Texas 0-0 at the UTD Soccer Complex Saturday night.

The Comets (5-4-4, 1-2-2 ASC) outshot the Tornados (7-3-3, 3-0-3) 10-9 overall and 4-3 on goal. Both teams took two corner kicks and UTD committed 10 fouls, compared to nine for Concordia.

Sophomore keeper Michael Hesse posted three saves in his second shutout of the season. Vaughn Morgan, Nate Patton, Jason Young, Aiden Currie, Blayne Martinez, Gavin Smith, Kayson Marriott and Adrian Solano made up the defensive corps in the field for the Comets.

UT Dallas Notes
- Riley O'Donnell, Currie, Alan Beaney and Marc Borbonus each took a shot on goal. 
- The shutout was the third of the season for UTD.
- Solano, Patton and Morgan logged all 90 minutes.

Concordia Texas
- Melvin Molina, Marco Rodriguez Jr. and Antonio Rios took a shot on goal a piece for the Tornados.
- Molina led all players with three shots.
- Joshua Redding posted four saves.
