RICHARDSON, Texas - A pair of late goals led to a UT Dallas men's soccer team 2-0 loss to East Texas Baptist at the UTD Soccer Complex Saturday night.

The visiting Tigers (7-7-1, 2-5 American Southwest Conference) scored on a Garrett Garvin corner kick that found Matthew Dieb in the 84th minute. Garvin scored one of his own with 28 seconds left in the game to sercure the ETBU win.

The Comets (6-5-4, 2-3-2 ASC) dominated possession, outshooting the Tigers 20-8 overall and 9-3 on goal. ETBU led in corner kicks 6-3 and both teams committed nine fouls.

UT Dallas Notes
- Junior forward Joe Ruedi led the Comets with five shots and three on goal. 
- Midfielder Leo Castro took four shots.
- Kane Kidwell, Adrian Solano, Jason Young, Luke Deats and Arman Massoudi each recorded a shot on goal.
- Solano and freshman defender Nate Patton played all 90 minutes.

East Texas Baptist Notes
- Garvin's goal was his fourth of the year and Dieb scored his second.
- Joel Garcia took the Tigers' other shot on goal.
- Anthony Lozada posted eight saves in the shutout.
