BROWNWOOD, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team ended the regular season on a high note, soundly defeating Howard Payne 25-9, 25-13, 25-11 at the Brownwood Coliseum Saturday afternoon.
The Comets (18-5, 14-2 ASC), who won the regular season title and will host the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament November 3-5, hit .257 with 40 kills, 11 aces, four blocks and 64 digs in the sweep.
The Lady Jackets (3-23, 1-15 ASC) hit .020 with 16 kills, two aces, two blocks and 41 digs.
UT Dallas Notes

Hannah Paine recorded a career-high 19 digs.

Abby Jones hit a season-high .444 on nine kills.
