RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's basketball used a big second half to route Arlington Baptist 103-65 at the UTD Activity Center Saturday afternoon.
After leading just 42-38 at the half, the Comets (4-2) shot 57.5 percent (23-for-40) in the second, outscoring the Patriots (0-5) 61-27 in the half.
UTD shot above 50 percent from the field for the fourth time this season, coming in at 52.7 percent (39-of-74). They also were 13-of-31 from three-point range and 12-for-20 at the free throw line to go with 43 rebounds, 27 assists, three blocks, 16 steals and 11 turnovers.
Arlington Baptist shot 49.1 percent (27-for-55) overall, 8-for-20 from outside and 3-for-5 at the line while coming up with 24 rebounds, 18 assists, two blocks, four steals and 24 turnovers.
UT Dallas Notes
- Sophomore forward
Rob Wade led UTD with a career-high 16 points to go with five rebounds in his first career start.
- Senior center
Will Isaac was 6-for-7 shooting, en route to a career-best 14 points. He also pulled down seven boards, five on the offensive glass, and blocked a pair of shots.

Kyle Poerschke had 13 points with eight rebounds and season-highs of four assists and four steals.

Luke Kiser added a season-best 11 points and dished out four assists.
- Sophomore guard
Caden McKenzie had a season-high 10 points and three steals off the bench.Â

Thibaut Tagnon also had career-bests with eight points, six assists and three steals.
- Freshman
Devin Vincent scored seven points off the bench and
Everett Bates had six.
- Sophomore forward
Brayden Wright added six points and five rebounds.
- Senior guard
Hunter Stevens had five points and two assists, moving into eighth place on the Comet career helper list with 235.

- Maurice Walker led the Patriots with 22 points, hitting four three-pointers.
- Gage Hulse scored 20 points with five rebounds and three assists.
- Daylen Minor had four points and six assists off the bench.
