MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The UT Dallas women's basketball team used a big second half to earn a 67-51 road victory at Rhodes at Mallory Gymnasium Sunday afternoon.
The Comets (2-3) trailed the Lynx (3-2), who received votes in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top 25, 29-27 after the first half. UTD outscored Rhodes 14-8 in the third quarter and pulled away with a 26-14 fourth period, shooting 76.9 percent (10-of-13).
For the game, the Comets shot a season-best 40.3 percent (25-of-62) and were 10-for-26 from three-point range and 7-of-14 at the free throw line. UTD also recorded 38 rebounds, 19 assists, 11 steals and 13 turnovers.
The Lynx shot 37.3 percent (19-for-51) overall, 2-for-20 from outside and 11-of-15 from the line to go with 36 rebounds, 12 assists, seven blocks, 10 steals and 19 turnovers.
UT Dallas Notes
- Freshman guard
Amanda Crowninshield came off the bench to lead the Comets with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting. She also had five boards, four assists and three steals.
- Senior forward
Diane Hurst scored a career-best 16 points and dished out three assists.
- Senior guard
Lauren Fulenwider drained four three-pointers, en route to a season-best 14 points, and posted five assists.

Maddie Edler hit a pair of threes in the first half for six points.
- Sophomore
Maggie Delascurain had four poiints and four boards and senior
Jordan Maxwell had five rebounds and two steals.
Rhodes Notes
- Alexys Mathangani paced the Lynx with 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
- Taylor Dupree had 12 poiints, six boards, four blocks and three steals off the bench.
- Catherine Althoff added six poiints and three assists.
