RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team lost to Harding 7-0 at the UTD Tennis Courts Sunday afternoon.

The visiting Bisons (3-1), who are regarded program in NCAA Division II, swept through doubles to take the first point of the match. The Comets' (1-2) Jed De Luna and Aryan Sharma lost in a tiebreaker to Bryce Walker and Edoardo D'Arrigo 6-7 (0-7) at number three.

HU took all six singles battles, but two of the matches went to a third set. Junior Eddy Shteyn took Milosh Petrovic to the wire at the second spot, losing 4-6, 6-4, 4-6. Freshman Nathan Qi took the first set from D'Arrigo at number three before succumbing 7-5, 4-6, 7-10. Sharma also had a close two-set battle with Cain Mikkelsen at number five with the score of 2-6, 4-6.

The Comets will be back in action on Friday, February 24 when they host Dallas at 5 p.m.
