IRVING, Texas - The UT Dallas women's basketball team won its third game in four days with a 78-50 victory over Dallas at Maher Athletic Center Saturday afternoon.
With the host Crusaders (1-8) up 5-4 over the first three minutes of the contest, the Comets (7-5) ended the first quarter on a 12-2 run. UTD would lead the rest of the game, including as much as 31 points late in the fourth quarter.
The Comets shot 45.6 percent (31-of-68) from the field, 9-of-24 from three-point range and 7-of-9 at the free throw line. They also recorded 35 rebounds, 19 assists, six turnovers, two blocks and 10 steals.Â
The Crusaders shot 29.8 percent (14-of-47) overall, 10-of-22 from outside and 12-of-15 from the line with 37 boards, seven assists, 21 turnovers, three blocks and three steals.
UTD's 31 field goals made was the most this season, while the six turnovers was the fewest. They also held UD to an opponent-low 14 field goals and 50 points.

Anna Yellen tied a career-high of 19 points and recorded a personal best nine rebounds and three steals with a blocked shot.Â

Alex Bowman dished out a career-best six assists to go with 14 points and three steals.

Addy Self came up with 12 points and five rebounds.
- Freshman
Jayla Lewis added eight points.
