ABILENE, Texas - The UT Dallas men's tennis team posted a 9-0 sweep of McMurry at the Seidel-Swagerty Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.

The Comets (2-1) took all three doubles matches from the War Hawks (2-6) to start the day. Senior Nick Boquet and sophomore Benjamin Dubois defeated Nicolas Villalovs and Eh Kuh Soe 8-5 in the top spot, while Nathan Qi and Jed De Luna topped Mason Bagwell and Eli Frosch 8-3 at number two. Senior Noah Sam and sophomore Snehin Yerragudi shutout Jack Greenwald and Angel Flores 8-0 in three doubles.

Qi, who is ranked #35 in the nation, won in a tiebreaker set at number one singles 1-6, 6-0, 10-6 over Villalovos. Boquet won in straight sets over Mason Bagwell 6-0, 6-0 at the third spot. Dubois won over Frosch 6-1, 6-1 at four and Jed De Luna was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at #5 against Greenwald. Yerragudi also won at #2 and Sam picked up a victory at #6.

UT Dallas Notes
- De Luna moved into fifth place on UTD's career singles victories list with 31.
- Boquet and Dubois improved to 3-0 on the season in doubles.
- Dubois also remained perfect at 3-0 in singles.
- Sam picked up wins in his first duel of the season.
