DURANT, Okla. - The UT Dallas men's tennis team lost 6-1 to NCAA Division II opponent Southeastern Oklahoma State at the Southeastern Tennis Complex Sunday afternoon.
The host Savage Storm (4-2) took the doubles point with wins at the first and second flight. The Comets' number three duo of
Snehin Yerragudi and Noaha Sam defeated Gen Naraya and Marcus Del Rosario 6-4.
Yerragudi was undefeated on the day, gaining UTD's only point in a 7-6, 6-2 number two singles win over Thabo Ncube.Â
Sophomore
Nathan Qi lost to Juan Gonzalez 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 in the top spot.
Benjamin Dubois suffered his first defeat of the year to Naraya 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 at #4.
Yerragudi and Sam improved to 2-0 on the weekend in doubles, while Yerragudi won both of his singles matches.
