RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team lost 6-1 to NCAA Division I opponent Utah Tech at the UTD Tennis Courts Tuesday afternoon.
The visiting Trailblazers (6-12) took the doubles point from the Comets (4-5) by winning all three matches.
UTD's lone point came at number four singles where junior
Elyssa Ducret defeated Ya-Chi Hsu 2-6, 7-5, 12-10.
Jhastine Red Ballado battled Olivia Bustos to a 2-6, 5-7 decision at number six singles.Â
Riya Matharoo was defeated by Adi Venkatakrishnan 6-0, 6-4 at the top spot.
With Ducret's win, she moves to 6-2 in singles on the season.
The Comets will host Howard Payne in American Southwest Conference East Division play at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
