BALTIMORE - The UT Dallas women's tennis team ended its 2024 campaign with a NCAA Division III Championship Second Round loss to #12 Washington and Lee, 5-0.

The Comets (11-6) pushed the Generals (21-1) in doubles. Seniors Rebecca Jackson and Saumya Vedula lost to #20 Lauren Long and Gabi Moss 8-7 in the top spot. Juniors Elyssa Ducret and Megan Zeng fell to Margaret Carlton and Grace Lorenz 8-6 at number two and Jhastine Red Ballado and Elsha Valluru fell to Izzy Koziol and Haley Stoltz 8-4.

W&L ended the match with two singles victories. Long won over Jackson 6-2, 6-0 at number one and Ducret was defeated by Soltz 6-2, 6-1 in the sixth flight.

UTD wraps up a season which featured its fifth consecutive trip to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament and the sixth American Southwest Conference title in school history.
